Tom Hannah is a long-time musician who plays several instruments. His favorite has always been the piano. He has served as a church Music Director for over twenty years.

Tom started playing the piano at the age of nine, taking “traditional” lessons until age eighteen. He also (briefly) took guitar lessons while in middle school. In addition to piano and guitar, Tom plays the organ, bass guitar, drums (just enough to be dangerous), banjo and mandolin (learning, just a few songs), and does pretty well with the radio.

Tom writes original arrangements of hymns, and does music notation for both individuals and publishing companies.

When not occupied with music, Tom is a computer programmer working for Clemson University. He’s currently the Deputy Director of the group that maintains the South Carolina Medicaid system. He’s an avid golfer who spent most of his youth desperately trying to beat his dad at the game, and is now spending his adult years trying to beat his sons. (He’s had very little success at either)

Tom Lives in Pickens, South Carolina, with his wife and two sons (though his sons are moving on to their own adult lives).
